A: No. Pre-Registration is a means of determining your interest in a particular section. Registration for each section is not confirmed until after you have paid the required deposit for your section. ORO masqueraders will receive a confirmation at the time of payment of your deposit.
A: For registration, you need the following:

• Ladies: Bra Option (Wire Bra, Regular Bra, Strapless Bra, Monokini)
• Ladies: Bottom Piece Option (Bikini, Thong, Full-Coverage Bottom, High Waist)
• Men: Waist Size (in inches)
Deposit amounts are $150-$250 USD depending on the section. Starting June 1, 2023, deposit amounts are 50% of package cost. Always register through the ORO Carnival website to ensure that your registration is valid.
A: A Private Section is a separate section that is marketed, run and controlled by an affiliate of our band who is called a private section leader. Masqueraders registered in a private section are all members of ORO but may receive additional information and communication about their section from the Private Section Leader.
A: Different costumes may have different additional options. Standard additional options on all costumes for ladies are bottom piece options:
Costumes may come with options for larger headpieces, backpacks and other embellishments at an additional cost. These options will be detailed on the registration page and in the section photo galleries, along with the cost attached.

A: You have until a section is sold out to register. However, all sections will be closed on June 30, 2023.
A: Unfortunately, once a section is listed as sold out on our website and social media channels the section will not be reopened.
A: ORO does not facilitate costume transfers. If you cannot collect your costume in person, please send us an email to let us know who will be collecting on your behalf. This will ensure a quick and smooth collection process. Anyone collecting a costume must present a valid form of ID at the time of collection. If you are collecting for yourself, you must have your ID. If you have authorized someone to collect on your behalf, they must have their ID.
A: Yes, if you cannot collect your costume in person, please send us an email to let us know who will be collecting on your behalf. This will ensure a quick and smooth collection process. Anyone collecting a costume must present a valid form of ID at the time of collection.
A: The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and advertised on our social media accounts. Different sections will have different distribution dates. The final date of costume distribution is Carnival Friday, after which ORO reserves the right to re-sell any uncollected costumes.
A: You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date, however priority is given to persons collected on their designated day.
A: ORO Express is a priority service provided by ORO which allows masqueraders who have paid in full for their costume to get priority in the costume collection process.
A: Your down-payment must be paid upon registration, otherwise you order will be incomplete and immediately canceled. Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection and can be paid for in house immediately before collecting the costume (Cash, Debit or Credit Card Payments). Masqueraders can also make advance payments at ORO’s Mas Camp (Cash, Debit or Credit Cards) and online via Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard).
A. We want to make payment as easy as possible for our supporters.
We encourage regular payments, however our deadlines are as follows:
50% of payment is due on or before May 31, 2023
Full payment on or before July 31, 2023
A: ORO accepts Cash and major Credit & Debit Cards (Visa & MasterCard) online. Cheques are not accepted for payment.
A: You will receive your costume box & headpiece, an ORO Goody Bag, filled with carnival essentials from our sponsors & your ORO Wristband. Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will be removed from the band.

A: Your wristband identifies you as an ORO masquerader and provides you with all the amenities covered under your costume package. Please keep the band secure and wear it on Carnival Monday and Tuesday.

A: Unfortunately, due to constraints with our band size, ORO does not allow masqueraders to design their own costumes.
A: ORO will provide complimentary Monday Wear in the ORO Signature Road Experience, at no additional cost to you, given by the band as appreciation of the support and purchase of a costume. The ORO Signature Monday Wear is usually an ORO branded bodywear or swimwear.
Please see our add-on package (additional cost) for upgraded Designer Monday Wear. Monday Wear will be collected at the same time as you collect your costume. You must wear your ORO wristband on both days to ensure easy recognition by our Security Team
A: Band lineup is based on a variety of factors and hence cannot be determined at the time of registration. It will be announced via our social media pages.

A: ORO only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band. Even if you are registered in different sections in ORO, you can still play mas together. Non-masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band however they will not be allowed to participate.
A: During carnival you can expect to hear soca music primarily. ORO offers a variety of DJs with different styles to appeal to every masquerader. There may also be appearances by artists who will perform live on the road. These are often surprise appearances and will not be announced.
A: The starting point is located in Grand Anse, St Georges
A: The band’s departure time is controlled by Spicemas corporation. We will inform our masqueraders of the starting point and time on Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday. Stay tuned to our social media and email as the date gets closer.
