Q: What are the opening hours?

A:  Our ORO Mas Camp will open in 2022. Please check back for our opening hours when we post them. In the mean-time if you have a question please contact us.

Q: Where can I view ORO’s costumes?

A: Our costumes will be displayed in our showroom which is at our Mas Camp location, located at the top floor of the GCNA Building on Kirani James Boulevard in St. Georges, Grenada. Unable to visit our showroom? View our online costume gallery.

Q: How do I get in touch with an ORO team member?

Q: When is costume registration for the new carnival year?

A: Pre-registration is currently available on the website. Please check social media for updates on registration times.

Q. If I am pre-registered does that mean that I am automatically confirmed for the section I chose?

A: No. Pre-Registration is a means of determining your interest in a particular section. Registration for each section is not confirmed until after you have paid the required deposit for your section. ORO masqueraders will receive a confirmation at the time of payment of your deposit.

Q: What do I need for costume registration?

A: For registration, you need the following:

Size Information:
• Ladies: Bra Size (A, B, C, D-DDD), Waistband Size (in inches), Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L, XL)
• Ladies: Bra Option (Bikini, Strapless Bra, Monokini)
• Ladies: Bottom Piece Option (Bikini, Thong, Cover-Up Bottom)
• Men: Waist Size (in inches)

Deposit amounts for the various sections will be posted to the website shortly. Please check back for more information. Always register through the ORO Carnival Website to ensure that your registration is valid.

Q: Can I order extra items with my costumes?

A: Different costumes may have different additional options. Standard additional options on all costumes for ladies are bottom piece options:

• Additional Bikini Bottom – Prices to be listed soon
• Additional Thong – Prices to be listed soon
• High-Waisted Bottom – Prices to be listed soon

Costumes may come with options for larger headpieces, backpacks and other embellishments at an additional cost. These options will be detailed on the registration page and in the section photo galleries, along with the cost attached.

Q: How do I register to play with ORO?

Q: I’ve purchased a costume from another masquerader. How do I transfer the costume to my name?

A: ORO does not facilitate costume transfers. If you cannot collect your costume in person,  please send us an email to let us know who will be collecting on your behalf.  This will ensure a quick and smooth collection process. Anyone collecting a costume must present a valid form of ID at the time of collection. If you are collecting for yourself, you must have your ID. If you have authorized someone to collect on your behalf, they must have their ID.

Q: I’m unable to collect my costume … Can another person collect on my behalf?

A: Yes, if you cannot collect your costume in person, please send us an email to let us know who will be collecting on your behalf. This will ensure a quick and smooth collection process. Anyone collecting a costume must present a valid form of ID at the time of collection.

Q: When do I collect my costume?

A: The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and advertised on our social media accounts.  Different sections will have different distribution dates.  The final date of costume distribution is Carnival Friday, after which ORO reserves the right to re-sell any uncollected costumes.

Q: I missed my collection date – what do I do?

A: You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date, however priority is given to persons collected on their designated day.

Q: What is the ORO Express service?

A: ORO Express is a priority service provided by ORO which allows masqueraders who have paid in full for their costume to get priority in the costume collection process.

Q: When do I need to pay for my costume?

A: Your down-payment must be paid upon registration, otherwise you order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled.  Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection and can be paid for in house immediately before collecting the costume (Cash, Debit or Credit Card Payments). Masqueraders can also make advance payments at ORO’s Mas Camp (Cash, Debit or Credit Cards) and online via Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard).

Q: How can I pay for my costume?

A: ORO accepts Cash and major Credit & Debit Cards (Visa & MasterCard) online. Cheques are not accepted for payment.

Q: What happens to my payment if my section is not offered or if I change my selection?

If you have selected and made a down payment this payment will go to your account towards any other section.

Q: Will I get the discount as a roll over customer?

Yes, if you are a Roll over customer your discount will apply. This is only for customers who remained registered up to 2022.

Q: What do I get when I come to Costume Distribution?

A: You will receive your costume box & headpiece, an ORO Goody Bag, filled with carnival essentials from our sponsors & your ORO Wristband.  Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will be removed from the band.

Q: I have a comment / complaint – who do I speak to?

A: Please send any comments or complaints to info@orocarnival.com.

Q: How do I join the ORO Mailing list?

A: Send an email to info@orocarnival.com requesting to be added to the mailing list.

Q: I have not been receiving emails from ORO … what can I do?

A: Please send an email to info@orocarnival.com with your information so that we can update our records with your correct email address.  We will send a confirmation once your address has been updated.

Q: What does ORO’s all-inclusive package include?

A: ORO’s all-inclusive package includes premium alcoholic & non-alcoholic drink, meals, security, on-site paramedics, mobile restrooms, & of course your costume.  For more details on the ORO Golden Experience visit orocarnival.com/road-experience/.

Q: What events do you host annually?

A: Please check the website at www.orocarnival.com for a list of our events.  Join our mailing list to ensure regular updates on our events.

Q: I would like to play as a character / individual with in the band – who do I contact?

A: Please email ORO at info@orocarnival.com or drop by the ORO Mas Camp to discuss with an ORO representative.

Q: I would like to design my own costume to play with ORO?

A: Unfortunately, due to constraints with our band size, ORO does not allow masqueraders to design their own costumes.

Q: Does ORO provide Monday wear?

A: ORO will provide Monday Wear, and it will be collected at the same time as you collect your costume. However you can also wear any part of your costume on Carnival Monday. You must wear your ORO wristband to ensure easy recognition by our Security Team.

Q: Where is my section in the band lineup?

A: Band lineup is based on a variety of factors and hence cannot be determined at the time of registration. It will be announced via our social media pages.

Q: I’m interested in providing a service / becoming a sponsor of ORO – who do I contact?

A: Please email our Band Leader, Lyndon Langdon or Head of Marketing, Sheldon Keens-Douglas with your proposal at info@orocarnival.com.

Q: Can my husband/wife/partner jump in the band?

A: ORO only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band. Non-masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band however they will not be allowed to participate.

Q: What music is played on the road?

A: ORO offers a variety of DJs with different styles to appeal to every masquerader. There may also be appearances by artistes who will perform live on the road. These are often surprise appearances and will not be announced.

Q: Where does the band meet?

A: The starting point is located in the Foodland Car Park on Kirani James Boulevard in St. George’s

Q: What time does mas begin?

A: The band’s departure time is controlled by Spicemas corporation however our trucks will be at our starting point from 1pm on Carnival Monday and 11am on Carnival Tuesday. Lunch and snacks are served throughout the day on the road.
